1. If the Internet
Services Manager is not installed on your computer, then go to
Start/Settings/Control Panel and click on the add/remove programs icon, then
click the add/remove Windows components option.
2. If the Internet
Informations Services (IIS) box is not checked then check it and click Next,
otherwise it is installed and you need to skip this step. Follow the steps up
until the wizard asks you to click finish.
3. Go to
Start/Programs/Administrative Tools/Internet Services Manager. You should see
the name of your computer listed there. Right click on it, scroll down to
New/FTP Site and click.
4. When the FTP Site
Creation Wizard runs click Next and enter the information it asks for. Make
sure you use the IP address of "your" computer. Make and/or
choose a folder that you would like to have shared, such as Public Access, and
use this folder for your FTP Site. It is your option whether the user can just
read the site or read and write to the site. Click Finish and you have your FTP
site ready.

5. Right-click on the
account you just made for FTP and you can change the settings and security to
suit your needs.

6. Also if there is
trouble accessing your FTP site, make sure you allow your folder, that you
chose for the FTP site to be shared.
7. Enjoy using your FTP
site!!
