Problems we had:  Our group had problems with this policy.  As you can see our policy below when we were trying to apply the background to the computers it kept coming up with a box over top our background.  To fix this problem we had to right click the back ground and on active desktop and uncheck the MY CURRENT HOMEPAGE.

Example for background on the clients in your server

1. Once again in our case we right click on yahoo group go to properties.  The following box will appear.  Click on the Group Policy tab and selcet new.  Add the policy that you wish to create.  Such as background.  Then click on edit.

On the left hand side you will scroll down to find what your group policy your trying to create would be under.  In our case it would be administrative templates and then desktop.  After you click on desktop you need to click on active desktop.  This will provide sub directories on the right hand side.  As you know we are going to apply a background for our clients on the server.  So you need to click on Enable Active DESKTOP and then scroll down to Active Desktop Wall paper.

As you can see in the above screen you need to enable the paper and specify location and the apply policy.

1.  Now we want to add our clients to the policy.

2.  Right click EX: Yahoo Group and then choose properties.

3.  You will get the above screen once again, but you need to highlight the policy your creating and then select properties.

4. Now you will get this screen.  Click the security Tab and scroll down the list choosing who you want to add.  After each selecting check mark apply group policy.  Continue to do this until you add all the clients that you wish!
